The DEM Renamer, when worn, allows you to change your name for speech at will. It also acts as a titler.
What makes the renamer different is that it respects RLV restrictions the wearer might be under. So, if you're muted, then the DEM renamer will mute you. Same if you're only allowed to whisper!
In addition to multiple owners, any of whom might lock it on the wearer, the DEM Renamer also provides support for word substitution. Personal references (me, mine, I, myself) can be replaced with the wearer's name. There's a more general substitution ability that allows any word to be substituted for any other word or phrase. You might never say no again!
