The Avondale Elizabethan Noble Gown can be used for fantasy or historical role play clothing. The colors are based on colors authentic to the Elizabethan period.

This elegant gown is great for a gentry to noble impression for Elizabethan England and the late Renaissance in France and Scotland. By adding accessories, you can increase your apparent status. A wealthy merchant's daughter or wife with aspirations to fashion might rival a lesser noblewoman in her rich fabrics and jewels. There were sumptuary laws at this period dictating what colors or fabrics people could wear according to their wealth or rank. These were sometimes ignored.
