These tops are textured with original textures to achieve the effect of shimmering iridescence.
The fabric looks like finely woven silk in a plain colour but as you move the reflected light makes areas of the gown shimmer. Lighting is very important to viewing these gown's iridescence - in some lights the effect is subtle, in others the effect is breathtaking. As you move the reflected light shifts on the fabric giving an ever changing shimmering iridescence. You need to have advanced lighting mode enabled in preferences to see the effect.
The photos were taking by changing windlight settings only, to demonstrate the iridescence, with no other lighting source. You don't need to wear bodylights, they don't seem to increase the effect, but if you wish to experiment go ahead.
Try the demo and move around, change the sun position so you can see it at different times of day and night or use the phototools windlight settings. The effect is different with each lighting environment that is part of their charm.
