The GCD ‘Urban DJ Booth ’ has some fantastic features.

1) It uses low lag Mono Scripting and ‘Link Set’ technology, so it uses very few scripts and so keeps ‘Lag’ to an absolute minimum.
2) You can set the front panel and overhead lights to ANY color using the menu or remote controlled HUD ‘Color Picker’.
3) Includes unique ‘Color Cycle’ & 'Texture Cycle' mode that constantly changes the colors & FX Textures.
4) Includes 100 animated textures for the front panel display. (50 black & white + 50 full color)
5) And you can set the texture, color, color cycle, glow and on/off all via Remote Control
6) All items are Copy & Modify(not scripts)
7) Includes 4 Animations and auto change feature.
8) Part Menu Operated and Part HUD Operated
9) Access settings for Public, Group or Owner

Click on the system and you will automatically start the DJ animation and the menu will drop down. From here you have a few choices.

ANIMATIONS
Choose from one of the 4 included animations

MENU OPTIONS:
1) HOVERTEXT - Choose to have 'DJ' hovertext on or off
2) ACCESS - Choose who can access system - Owner, Group or Public
3) AUTO - This turns on the Auto Animate function and will automatically change the animations for you.
4) TIMING - This is to adjust the timing of when you want the animations to change when in 'Auto'
5) HEIGHT - This adjusts the height of your Avatar.
6) COLOR - Set to one of 9 colors(White,Yellow,Blue,Green,Red,Purple,lavender,Sky,Red,Pink) OR choose 'Cycle' to constantly change color.
7) LIGHTS - From here you can set the overhead lights to rotate (Slow,Medium or Fast)
8) GET FX HUD - Press this to get the Screen Panel Effects HUD and set the animated textures.

FX HUD CONTROLS
The Remote Controller HUD sets the Texture FX for the front panel and the colors of the overhead lights. The Quick Start Guide shows you all the functions of the controller.

REMOTE FUNCTIONS

On/OFF
In the Top right corner you will see the main ON/OFF power switch. If you have any problems with the system, simply turning it off and on again to reset it should help sort things out.

COLOR PICKER.
This is the section on the upper left.
Just click on the ‘Color Picker’ to set the color you want and then use the ‘greyscale’ section just to the right to adjust the light/darkness.
Using this section, you can set the Screen and Lights to any color you want.

COLOR CYCLE MODE
The ON/OFF button in this section turns on the ‘Color Cycle’. This automatically changes the color of the screen and lights for you and cycles through a selection of colors.

COLOR TEXTURE RESET
Resets the screen to a neutral white for color textures

TEXTURE PICKER
The right side of the Remote Controller is the Texture Section.
You’ll see there is a choice of 12 textures to choose from here.
Below this you will see a + and - sign. Click on these and you will see the textures change giving you a further 12 textures (Total 100+).
The + sign shows you the next 12 textures and the - sign takes you back to the previous 12.

TOP LAYER BUTTON
This gives you a selection of textures and effects for the top layer of the screen. Click on this button and a menu will drop down where you can select one of the following options : Clear, Blocks, Urban, Video FX, Old TV FX, TV Wall, Dots, One Dot, Grime Dots, Hexagons, Dirty Blocks, Tiny Dots.

EQ BUTTON.
This gives you a selection of six different EQ Meter effects which display on the FX Screen. Use along with the color & glow options.

AUTO TEXTURE CHANGE
This turns the random texture selector on. Just click again to turn on & off.

GLOW SETTINGS
In the bottom right you will see the ‘Glow’ section. Choose the screens glow settings from here.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:
There are a few other things the system can do just by clicking certain parts of it:
Whilst DJing....
1)Click on the 'start/stop button on the turntables and this will start the vinyl plate rotating, click again to stop.
2)Click on the vinyl plate and this will randomly change the texture....there is a choice of 3 record and 2 slip mat textures.
3) Click on the tone arm and it will slide across and drop on the record....click again and it will go back.
4) Click on the VU meters and you can turn them off and on *watch out for the mixer light beam which might get in the way in some positions.
5) Click on the Computer Screen to randomly change the screen texture with a choice of 10 screens.

When you dismount the DJ Booth it will automatically shut everything down for you until the next DJ starts playing.

This booth is so much fun to use, and it works great! I love having the option for the DJ to dance as well as performing "DJ-type actions."

I love the ability to change colors or have it cycle through them, and the options for the FX screen are very nice. You can set it to match the mood of the set you're playing or to suit the venue. The level of detail on the outside and behind the booth is fantastic, you want to see it to believe it. You can try it out at the in world store and experience that "shut up and take my money" feeling. :)

I haven't used it with the stage/platform that comes with it. Yet.
