What is it? And what does it do?

Well I guess you can tell it's a tips jar?

It is an Owner Only tips jar, meaning it doesn't allow others to login to it.

Basically put, you rez it, edit the '_cofig settings' and let folks tip you. Plain and simple :)

Anyone who right clicks it will be able to tip you any amount they so desire.

Anyone who touches it will be presented with a menu which can:

Allow folks to join your group.
Give out Notecards/Landmarks.
Give out Gifts.

Of course you can add as many NC's, LM's and Gifts as you wish, or none. The choice is yours. You can even turn the menu feature of, should you wish to do so. Making it a simple tips jar only :)

There are some options you can change via the '_Config Settings' notecard inside the tips jar.

It is all self explanitory inside that notecard, but for those who wish to read on, here come's some detailed information....

How do I change the settings?
------------------------------------
1: Right Click and choose EDIT from the PIE menu.
2: Goto the 'Content' tab on the right to see its inventory items.
3: Double click on the '_config settings' notecard to open it.
4: Read through it and alter any settings you need to.
5: Once done SAVE the notecard and CLOSE it.
6. Your tips jar will reset and read your new settings from the config.
8: Touch your tips jar and test the menu.
9: To make any changes, repeat steps 1 to 5.
10: Enjoy :)

Full details of all the config settings are given inside the '_Config Settings' notecard.

Adding Landmarks, Notecards and Gifts
----------------------------------------------
Your tips jar can give out Landmarks, Notecards and also Gifts to those who touch it.

Before adding any gift(s) to be given out, please make sure you have the correct permissions set on them. If you created the item, then set the perms to suit. You can make your own created gift(s) have any perms you desire.

If you plan on giving away a product NOT created by yourself, it MUST have Copy perms or the item will not be added to the gifts to be given out. This is to protect you from losing your only copy of that item.

Your tips jar will tell you if you have placed in an item of this type and will not add it to the list of gifts to be given.

Please do check your permissions carefully.

To add your own Landmarks and/or Notecards and/or Gifts, simply edit the tips jar by right clicking on it and select Edit from the pie menu. then goto the Content tab. Simply drag your items from your inv to it.

*Please note that gifts must be prim items. The tips jar will not give out clothing or gestures etc. If you need to give those as a gift, please put them inside a box (prim) first :)

You can add as many notecards, landmarks and gifts as you wish. All will be given out :)

Maybe add notecards with all the events you play at? Add landmarks for the clubs you work at. etc. You do not need both landmarks and notecards. You can have either or both or even none!

* Feel free to delete the included Ultrateque LM and NC inside the tips jar, but be careful not to delete the scripts or the config notecard.

What about my Group, How do I get my group key?

I have included a Group Key Finder which you can use for this purpose.

Rez it and right click on it to edit it, set it to your group under the General Tab/Group.

Once you set it to your group, simply come out of edit mode and touch it.

Your group key will be shown in main chat where you can Copy the key and Paste it to the tip jars '_Config Settings'.
(Open main chat*. To do so, Ctrl & h allows you to open main chat* quickly)

*Main chat is also called Nearby Chat is some viewers.

Please remember your group must be set as an Open group to allow folks to join it. :)

What do the menu buttons do?

When touched, the tips jar will present a menu with the following options:

GROUP: Simply allows anyone to join your group.
INFO: Gives out any notecards and/or landmarks inside your tips jar.
GIFT: If you have included any gift(s), this button allows folks to get them/it.
