This is a complete rework and upgrade of the original Dragon Archery Range system. The upgrade was so massive we considered starting over at v1.0 as an entirely separate project, but wished to preserve the pedigree.

With the Dragon Target Range (DTR v2.0), accuracy matters. Your score is based on the formula "points - accuracy = score". The Targets only accept hits from the front face, are arguably the most accurate possible in SL, and report accuracy to 6 decimal places, which are then converted into points from 1 to 10, from which the accuracy itself is deducted.

Another amazing feature implemented with the DTR v2.0 is "facing" targets! No matter where they spawn, or how they move, all targets will turn toward the gate to face you, even the Bonus targets in the + modes!

SETUP:
Rez a Herald option. Choose either the 'Fair', a simple lightweight Herald for Realms with their own seating and podiums, or the 'Podium' version which includes a bench seat, and owner rez-able Place Shields (right click/sit to use a Place Shield. The owner can Rez the shields by touching the MOD button/*Owner Only*/Rez Shields).

Rez a Gate. Configure the !Configuration settings notecard(s). By default all Heralds and Gate are set to "Set1", see the !Configuration settings notecards for details, explanations, and examples.

CONFIGURATION OPTIONS PREVIEW:
The Heralds: Both versions have the following parameters available in the !Configuration settings notecard. See the card for details/examples:
Set: You can have more than one course!
Distance: You can set your Herald to say (20 meters), or shout (100 meters) for more sim friendly operation.
Realm: The name of your Realm.
Flags: The full perm texture UUID of any banner you would like to display by default when a competition is not in progress, or none.
FlexiFlags: Should the banners wave in the breeze, or not.
Moderators: List of people allowed to moderate the Herald (or none so anyone can Moderate).

The Gate: The Gate has a !Configuration settings notecards to match their Set to their Herald.

OPERATION:

*** Set the Mode Parameters

Mode parameters are set by clicking the right side target on the Gate within 10 meters. Anyone can set the parameters for practice or for an event. They must be set at the gate before beginning an event through the herald.

--- PopUp - A target will rez in a random location within the target area as specified by the Width and Height parameters. It will stay until hit, then "pop" to a new location.

--- ZigZag - A target will rez in a random location within the target area as specified by the Width and Height parameters. It will stay until hit, then visibly zoom to a new random location. This makes it much easier to track the target than PopUp mode.

--- Moving - A target will rez in a random location within the target area as specified by the Width and Height parameters. It will never be still, changing course when hit, or when reaching a random point. This requires more skill to lead the target appropriately!

--- 3dPopUp, 3dZigZag, and 3dMoving work like their 2d counterparts, accept that their target area includes the Depth parameter, allowing them to move in front of, or behind the Hay Bale, literally adding an entirely new dimension to the challenge!

Time: The time in seconds each archer has to get as many points as possible.

Width: The maximum sideways distance from the "center point" a target may go. This is a +/- parameter meaning the distance is to each direction. So a 10m setting will allow a 20 meter wide area.

Height: The Maximum Height above the "center point" a target may go. 1m is the minimum.

Depth: Like Width, this is a +/- parameter, but the axis is front/back. This parameter only comes into play when using the 3d modes.

Speed: The speed in meters per second a Moving or 3dMoving target will travel. The faster the speed, the more you will need to lead the target.

Range: Range creates the "center point". It is how many meters in front of the gate the above parameters are measured from. If you select a range of 15, and a depth of 10, a target might fly within 5 meters of the gate, or 25. (15 +/- 10).

*The DTR v2.0 also introduces 3 new modes, the "+" modes! 3dPopUp+, 3dZigZag+, and 3dMoving+
The "+" modes work like their above counterparts, but with addition of "Bonus Targets" which spawn and roam using the 3dMoving mode, however, it's speed is calculated by the length of it's move (a move is calculated on where it spawns, and where it will disappear if not hit). These bonus targets work opposite to the normal targets, in that with the Bonus targets it's speed is that matters, not accuracy.
As each participant completes their passes, their scores are tallied and posted, keeping their highest score. Current places 1 - 4 are maintained on the Herald. Once all participants have run their passes, the Moderator will be prompted to touch the Mod button, and select "Get Report".
