Cute Avi, Brilliant Customer Service

I should note that I've bought two of these little guys: Both the black and brown (which I purchased in-world) and this, the black, which I snagged with the intention of reviewing. The customer service surrounding this avatar influenced my rating.

It should be mentioned and praised that this is an avatar that is multi-body compatible. It comes with versions for the default SL body, a fitted mesh body by DSD themselves, Kemono and Kuroo versions, and Maitreya/Omega versions, as well as two foot options for each avatar (digi and planti). That said, there are seams, but they are only a problem if you make or let them be. It will also benefit you to have some modding experience!

I've put together two different fens, both using the Kemono body, partly due to convenience (I have more Kemono mods, outfits, and accessories than I know what to do with half the time; for me, the only real downside of using the DSD body is that it can be difficult to dress). The downside? You can't increase body thickness without giving your fen some serious double chin, but as fens are meant to be lean, this shouldn't present too much of a problem.

Here's where modding experience comes in: The fennec parts come with shine enabled, but you can disable it, if you prefer, by simply turning "Glossiness" to 0 (Edit > Textures > Shininess [Specular]); if you choose to do so, then this also must be done to the body, as appliers will add the specular layer as well. When using a third-party body, please also be aware that if the applier script fails (and it may when using third-party parts [flat chests, breasts, bits, etc.]), you will find the required textures in the "Extras" box so that you can hand-texture your body (just drag and drop the textures into the correct texture boxes in edit mode).

TL;DR: While not perfect (and what is?), it is a lovely little avatar (or demi-avatar) that lends itself to some cool modding opportunities. I only lament the piercing options of the V2.
