it's a whole new avatar
i had originally purchased this avatar before the recent update, so i shared many of the same concerns expressed in the other reviews for this product. however, since the update, this really is like a whole new avatar. the hud has been reworked, which is a major improvement in my opinion. the alphas now work with a lot of mesh clothing that i own already. however, your mileage may vary depending on how you set up your avatar. nevertheless, standard SL avatar skins have been provided, so it should be possible to leave the mesh body off for some outfit presets and use mesh clothing that includes regular alpha masks. it's important to note that no clothing has been included in this update, but really, does anyone ever wear such clothing for long? find clothes you really like in the marketplace and try out demos to ensure they fit. same goes with hair too. i'm not a fan of the included hair, but there's so much hair in the marketplace you're sure to find something you like better. personally, i don't like the included eyes, but i already own a great eye product i use with my DSD aardwolf and which works fine in the panda as well. all in all, considering the included options and the improved features, this is a stellar product. highly recommended!
Good but...
I've trying to find clothes for this body (Small). And i have find... umm... Nothing. I have some fitmesh apparel, and... it' not fit on this.
Very rushed derpy looking avatar not worth 1100L
Here's my constructive criticism of this avatar
1: The eyes are derpy, they stare off into different directions and can't be adjusted because they're rigged, the textures for the eyes are not very good and look like they're made of play-doh
2: Eyelashes look really weird and blocky when you blink and can't be disabled
3: Texturing is really "off", it has strange gradients in it and the baked lighting on the face is really grey looking and dark, doesn't look right.
4:Colors are not even close to actual red panda colors
5: Mouth looks almost full bright in contrast to the dark shadows of the face
6: Tail has strange clipping towards the end of it
7: Pictures are really dark and I couldn't really decipher the quality of the avatar from them.
Only thing i can say is the body model is pretty alright though it's mesh and has no clothes for it as of this review.
I was really excited for a new red panda avatar but this is a huge disappointed.
It was delayed multiple times and still came out rushed looking.
Also I asked for a refund from the creator but they denied me...
BE SURE TO LOOK AT IN WORLD IF YOU INTEND TO BUY IT!
