It looks great
Just a small hitch on navigating the hud but stuff is working out now
Love it, though the mesh body is frustrating...
I've been searching for an adorable Red Panda for a while, but I've finally found it! Adorable head, and the mesh body is made so well that chubby shapes look amazing on it!
However, mesh body 1.2 does not fit existing rigged mesh at all, despite saying it should fit some. All pants are bigger than the body itself or misshapen, nor do my warmers fit without clipping that I simply can't hide. I've had to end up using the SL body version because I'm literally unable to clothe the mesh body beyond some terrible unrigged mesh clothing I have. So for now, the only use the mesh body has is basically anytime I want to have sexy chub fun time with someone, since that's it's only use it can get at the moment. This could be a make or break issue in the long run with the mesh body itself if basic clothing isn't included.
Awesome :D
I very much love this, the concept behind this and the fact modders are put in mind.
Pros: Very nice mesh, I love the alpha hud functionality and how the plantigrade and digi style feet can be swapped with one click of a button. With the hud worn, an AO and the avatar with a random mesh hair stuffed on my head I run at a very low ARC and script count is pretty low as well. Probably one of the best I've seen in a long while.
I love the quality of eye choices/textures.
The fact there are 3-4 different claw/nail types to pick from.
The fact it's fitmesh and the various body choices, the only issue is unless there's male specific clothing made for it, it's rigged to a female form and would require special consideration for outfits. Pants, generic pants I've got in my inventory seem so far to fit just fine however!
The Cons: No dev kit.. available yet. It's been out since Saturday the 16th and I've tossed a note card to Oken about it. Here's hoping we see this sooner then later because I know PLENTY of people wanting to start makings mods etc... Was kinda disappointed to see it wasn't posted on the list the hud itself has a URL for and I been extremely anxious to get started since I got to glimpse how the uv actually looks via tumblr and REALLY want to play with it.
The only 'build' problem I have with the avatar is VERY strange bending/pulling around the hips/waist when you move, specifically noticed when one sits using any standard AO available. Suggestion to fix would be possible weight adjustments.. I'm not gonna pretend I know how to make mesh or rig, but I see this as a common struggle many mesh makers/avatar creators encounter.. but that said it CAN be totally overcome with a little more persistence and practice in that it wouldn't be AS noticeable. Everything else imo, is great.
My pros and cons list are just from my own critical eye, it doesn't detract in the stars for me, but it may for someone else. Been a fan of DSD for a long time <3
Good.. but
The face of this thing is adorable, the body is nicely done, the tail can be super fluffy which is added bonus. But of course with all full mesh body it can be a pain to find things that fit that aren't made for the body. I really hope third party people can make clothing for it. Hair is also a bit of an issue, I tried many and very few actually worked with the heads as far as mesh goes. Now unrigged or sculpted hair will work just fine. The hud is easy to use and it's nice it comes with some clothes made for it. I hope it's embraced by the market and I look forward to seeing what can be done with the avi. Overall it gets 4 out of 5 for great effort and cuteness.
