DT Flight Boost Armband

This item may look like a simple leather wristband, but it provides an adjustable speed boost to flying, and a boost to hovering when high in the air, cancelling the normal slow fall. Both can be seperately enabled or disabled. The flight boosts can be controled via text commands or a dialog system (accessable by touch). While the flight boost is active, the controls are mostly limited to the horizontal plane and straight up/down, which also reduces SL's normal terrain following. Note that to provide the speed boost, the controls are captured, which may provide unpredictable results with other items that capture controls. If you have any problems, disable the fight boost and try again. The messages you receive are not visible to anyone else, and there are three levels of feedback; none, low, and full. Low only reports when settings change or the boost is enabled/disabled. Full also reports settings on each rez (log on, teleporting, and attaching).

Commands:
Say in the chatbar to control the flight boost.
/4 boostmenu - Start the dialog system (also on touch)
/4 booston <speed> - Enable flight boost with <speed> (omit <speed> to keep last setting)
/4 boostoff - Disable flight boost
/4 boost <speed> - Set flight boost to <speed> (omit <speed> to get current setting unless feedback is disabled)
/4 hoveron - Enable hover boost
/4 hoveroff - Disable hover boost
/4 feedback - Cycles through three feedback settings
/4 quickhelp - Shows a list of commands
/4 fullhelp - This notecard

<speed> is a whole number in approximate meters per second (depending on server load, lag, etc).

The prims are fully mod, so you may retexture/recolor if you wish. There are actually 2 prims, one is the visible wristband, the other is an invisible prim that covers the forearm to provide the mass to push an avatar at high speeds. Do not shrink the large prim too much or the speed will be limited. If you want to change the wristband, select "Edit linked parts" in the edit window and click on the large prim to move it out of the way, then you can select the wristband and edit it.
