Simple jet that works in three modes, remote control, direct control, and owner follow. The jet is modeled after the US Air Force F117 Nighthawk at approx 1/16 scale. Touch the jet to get the control dialog menu. When not active, the buttons are "Remote", "SetBase", "Follow", "Rider", and "Strobes". Remote will start remote control mode, and pop up a dialog to request taking your controls. "Follow" will start the owner follow mode. Sitting on the jet at any time will enable the direct control mode. Strobes lets you toggle the red and green strobe lights on and off and one of three sizes. When not active, the jet will scan once every 6 minutes, if it does not detect you, it will IM you it's location, then enable a 5 minute countdown before deleting itself. Touch the jet to disable the countdown.
Remote control mode:
When in remote control, your movement keys will fly the jet, and not move your avatar. Use forward and back to move the jet forward/back, left and right to turn, jump and crouch to move the jet up/down, and Shift + left and Shift + right to slide the jet sideways. If the jet goes farther than 96m from where it started remote mode, it will disable remote mode and IM you it's position, then start a 5 minute countdown before deleting itself. Touching the jet will disable the countdown. Note: When you touch SL may show the jet start flying again, this is a glitch with SL and the jet is not actually moving, hitting the Follow button is an easy way to fix it. The "SetBase" button will reset the 96m range center point to the jets current position. The "Remote" button will change to "StopJet", which will return controls to you and hold it's position. If you lose the jets position, but it's still within 96m, you can click the 'Release Keys' button at the bottom of your screen to stop remote mode, though the jet will still think it is, use the StopJet button to put the jet back in idle mode.
Direct control mode:
If you sit on the jet, it will enter direct control mode, which will allow you to control the jet the same as remote mode, only it does not have a distance limit, and uses the follow camera so your view lags just a bit behind the movements. When you stand up from the jet, it will enter the mode it was in before. You can also stop the jet while still sitting on it.
Follow mode:
When in follow mode, the jet will stay just behind and to the side of the owner, pointing in the same direction as your avatar. The jet is phantom when following, so it won't get caught on objects. The dialog in follow mode will have the following buttons: "StopJet", "Side", "Remote", "Rider" and "Strobes". The Side button will toggle between following on the right or left sides. If the jet can't find the owner, it will disable follow mode, IM you it's position, then start a 5 minute countdown before deleting itself. Touching the jet will disable the countdown. The jet should not lose the owner when flying at normal speeds or with a light speed boost, unless the sim is running very slow.
Rider:
By default, the jet will not allow anyone to sit on it. If you press the "Rider" button, it will allow one avatar to sit. There is only one sit point on the jet, and anyone attempting to sit when someone else is sitting will be immediately unsat. The current Rider mode is shown in the dialog menu. The rider will not beable to control the jet.
Updates:
This product comes with an automatic updater. Every time it's rezed, it will send a message to the Update Vendor. If a new version is available, the Update Vendor will send it to you automatically.
