Resold, unaltered, full-perm assets. Not mentioned or stated anywhere in the listing.

As there are few complete mesh fantasy/gothic build kits on the marketplace, I decided to try 3rd Eye Perceptions, only to find that I basically owned this build kit already.

The majority of the mesh/pieces in this set, such as the walls, are UNALTERED pieces from Jammin, particularly this set here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Jammin-Pillar-Arches-Construction-Set-V5-CopyMod-100-Mesh/5906251

The meshes aren't even retextured, they are identical to the pieces you can get in the Jammin kit out of the box.

The rest of the build kit is fences, lanterns, metal decoration pieces etc... I don't know whether or not those are also resold full perm assets, I don't recognize them, but I'd be willing to bet there's a good chance they are.

This is a really dishonest practice given the L$5,800 price tag. You can buy the full perm Jammin wall kit for about 2,400 L$ and the mod/copy version for half that. I already owned that kit, and I basically paid almost 6000 extra lindens for someone to repackage it and throw in a few extra items.

I have no issue with creators using full perm assets; that's the whole point of full perm mesh, but to not change the textures, AND to not disclose that it is resold assets on the marketplace listing, is an entirely different thing. I'm not even sure if this obides by Jammin's terms, as their marketplace listing states that the resold item must be "derivative" - which they define as;

"'Derivative Work' is defined as a work different enough from the original to be regarded as a 'new work or a work containing a substantial amount of new material. "

If you rez the "Darklore" kit out side by side with the Jammin wall kit, they will look the same, save for the few extra greebles added to this kit.

I strongly suggest that other builders consider buying the original kit considering it's pretty much half price, and I personally will be avoiding 3rd Eye if they don't disclose when something is a resold asset.
