11/30/25 -- Slimmed it down a bit laterally.

My first actual av using the walking jaw mechanism. It's some species of deep-sea fish yet to be discovered, like if an oarfish and a gulper eel somehow had a baby together. Note that this is a fair-sized av, I'm guessing maybe not quite as long as a city bus.

It's still a bit rough, but finished enough to live in the wild. Future updates will be noted here if they happen.

NOTES:

The lower jaw is attached to the right upper leg, so it closes and opens as you walk. I'd rather have the mouth closed when at rest, and open as the av starts walking, but that's not workable.

The stand-idle animation tends to skew the jaw a bit crooked now and again as the av leans toward one hip or the other. An AO that doesn't do that would be helpful, but it isn't a serious bother IMO.

Everything except the jaw is attached to the pelvis, so the av goes kind of inert when standing idle. Ordinarily I would attach to the chest to give it a bit of breathing motion, but it has to be the pelvis in order for the snapping jaw to work.

The body and the long fin have to be separate prims, at least as per my skill set at present. Occasionally, mostly when rezzing or after a teleport, they may get their flexi features out of sync. They should ooze back together after a moment or two.

As usual, permissions are copy/mod. Users are encouraged to mess with it, resize, repaint, use parts of it elsewhere, whatever. No transfer; if somebody likes what you're wearing, send them to my store for the latest version of the original unit.

Thank You!
