Deep Seas is proud to announce the release our latest range of tails - Ikan Betta - Siamese Fighting Fish. The name 'Ikan Bettah' is the Malay term used to refer to these ferocious and beautiful warrior fishes that are found in rice paddies and streams all throughout South-east Asia. The Malay word 'Bettah' is the base of the western scientific name Betta splendens, and is allegedly a reference to a legendary tribe of Malay Warriors. These fish are known and admired worldwide for their glorious coloured fins and their ferocious warrior spirit, and now Deep Seas has it's own homage to these beautiful little fish.
