Deluxe Filler Buildings with Shops Set

This new version (2018) of the filler buildings and shops was made for the reopening of the Machinima Open Studio Project. Like their predecessors they feature shops below faux buildings. They can act as shops or filler building or BOTH.

There are difference between these and the earlier and still very popular version so choosing the one that will work best for you is important. Here are the differences.

* These new versions have baked textures and while the buildings are mod, they will not take bricks along the side and back wall well. Adding your own textures is possible of course but you will lose the subtle lighting that comes with baking. The previous version is "more mod" for using tiling textures.

* These were designed for full sim installations and are higher LOD by some than the previous versions. The prim count is also higher and ranges from 10 - 40 for the one with fire escape and doors.

*These feature a wide variety of choices, nine singles in three colors with various styles as well as two coalesced groups of buildings with different doors. The other older set can have doors but they are purchased separately and do not open.

*This set includes three styles of double doors that DO OPEN into the shops -- so much better if you are planning on using the space underneath. A set of warehouse doors (non-opening) is also included -- mostly because I used them in my installation and it was easy to just pick things up - LOL. Lazy.

The doors are all scripted and can be used as supplied. IF you take the doors off and use on other buildings and put them close together you will need to change the door numbering in the scripts in order to have the doors open independently.

The mesh is a bit more optimized in this version (we keep on learning) and the ceilings inside the buildings (and hence the door frames) are taller as I felt a bit confined in the others.

*Interiors take tiling textures. Ceiling is a separate material from the walls so can be different
