There's so much good stuff out there in SL that you like but can't afford. When you find stuff like that, you can hit the dance pole, the wallet, or (in this case) your pixel pushing tools to make your own version!

And what usually happens is along the way you end up making something you like better. Here's an inspired piece of club wear with the surest way to my heart written all over it. ("FULL BOWL FULL HEART")

I also made some custom variants for friends - that's another benefit to trying stuff yourself!
