Diamond Wedding Ring (Transfer Version)

This is the Transferable, No-Copy version so you can give it to someone in-world.

This ring is modelled on my and my wife's own RL rings, purchased from a bespoke jewellers. It is 18 carat gold with a platinum centre band, ornamented with seven diamonds around the top half. PBR materials are used to give realistic effects; you need to use a PBR enabled viewer to see them (The latest LL viewer is). A non-PBR viewer will see the traditional materials.

You can exchange the transfer version of the ring for the copyable version at no extra charge. Just send it to me (Vulpinus Resident), along with an instant message so I know you've sent it. I'll send you the copy version when I'm next online (probably same or next day, depending on time difference).

The ring attaches by default to your ring finger on the left hand, and is not rigged so you can easily adjust the size and position to fit perfectly. Please use the viewer's edit tool to do this. The ring is fully modifiable.

You can also edit the materials, both PBR and traditional, so can tint the diamonds a different colour if you fancy rubies or sapphires, change the gold reflectiveness, etc.

Please note that if you edit the transferable, non-copyable version... you do not have a backup. Be careful not to do something you cannot undo! I recommend only changing materials or removing the script on the copyable version. I cannot help if you mess up the transfer ring.

The ring contains an R L V Locking script, allowing you to lock the ring on you. This only works with an R L V enabled viewer, with R L V turned on. When locked, the ring cannot be removed should you change outfits; it will always stay on even after you relog. The script listens on channel 3 by default. To send commands, type "/3 command" into the chat window, without the quote marks. The ring will say what it has done if you type the command correctly.

Commands:
LOCK: Lock the ring on you. The ring cannot be removed manually or edited while locked.
UNLOCK: Unlock the ring, allowing you to remove or edit it.
CHAT N: Change chat channel to number N (remember what you set).
REMOVE: Remove the script (be careful - it is removed immediately)

You can also just type the first letter of the command (eg. "/3 L" to lock), except for Remove.

If you lock the ring and have changed the channel and forgotten it, just disable R L V in the viewer's options and relog. You can then reset the script in the ring (use the edit window).
