DropHunt System
==============
This system comes with two AirShips, each with a unique appearance. Despite their different looks, they function identically, and you're free to use either one.
Each AirShip has two seats: one for the pilot and another for an assistant (not mandatory), who can help with dropping objects. By default, only the owner is allowed to pilot the AirShip, but this restriction can be lifted through the Lock/Unlock button on menu to allow others to fly it.
Steering the AirShip
==============
NOTE: this paragraph has been taken from the manual written by the original creator of the balloon flight system.
The balloon controls are accessible only for someone at "Balloon Operator" seat (let's call it a front one). To initiate a flight you have to light up the burner. by selecting "Start" from balloon menu.
Once the burner is activated the whole balloon will turn into a vehicle with physic. So better careful where you start it, if will intersect with other objects the outcome can be rather..unpredictable. Turning the balloon into a vehicle will increase the amount of prims the vehicle takes so this might fail on sims that are close to their limits.
Finishing a flight is similar, by selecting the "Stop" option from balloon menu. Turning off the burner will return the balloon into a static object again.
Please note that option to stop / start is available during the flight (so when in the air) as well. It's not very realistic but we assumed it may be quite useful for 'mooring' a balloon over a selected place.
If you stand up from "Balloon Operator" seat (or will be un-sited in example by evil orb) the balloon will perform a stop action as well.
Steering is done with the direction keys (usually WSAD or arrows keys) as well as A and C (or PageUp/PageDown) buttons. Pressing forward will increase the speed to the next higher level, backwards will decrease the speed or if already at stop make the balloon fly backwards. Left and right will turn the balloon. A and C will respectively initiate burner and rise the balloon or release hot air and lower it.
Droppable Objects
==============
This system is flexible and allows you to use any model you’d like as a droppable object. However, this copy comes with a fun Easter egg and bunny pack that you can use right away.
To make any model droppable/poppable, follow these steps:
1) Ensure the model is copyable.
2) If the model has more than one prim, use the DigiCore_DropScript_MultiPrim_v1.0 script included in this pack. Otherwise, use DigiCore_DropScript_v1.0.
3) Add a pop sound file to the model to play upon collision with an avatar.
4) In the model’s description, set the score value that the avatar earns when it pops the item. By default, this value is set to 1.
Once your models are ready, simply load them into the AirShip.
To drop the models, the AirShip must be started (as explained in the "Steering the AirShip" section). Then, use the "AirShip Drop" gesture included in this pack. This gesture is triggered by the plus (+) key on your keyboard by default, but you’re free to change the shortcut to anything you prefer.
You can set the number of models dropped per gesture use via the Drops button in the AirShip menu. Both the driver and the assistant (the second avatar seated) can use the gesture to drop models—but only if the AirShip is running and both avatars are seated on their assigned pose balls.
Score Board
==============
To change the board's background, click the Texture button in the menu and enter the UUID of the new texture. Make sure the texture has less color and isn’t fully transparent—ideally, avoid using PNG files with transparency. Otherwise, you might encounter visual glitches where the text appears incorrectly due to transparency issues in the background layer.
NOTE: This system does not handle the distribution of L$ or any other type of prizes. It is solely designed to collect and display scores for the duration of an event. It’s entirely up to the owner to decide if, when, and what rewards to give to the winners.
We hope you enjoy playing! If you encounter any issues or have feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
