OPERATION:
The DA teleport HUD allows the owner to teleport anywhere in second life easily. Just rez the teleport HUD on the ground and then drop in landmarks from your inventory. Then take the HUD back into your inventory and wear it. You now have easy access to each landmark you copied into the HUD.

Click, on the teleport HUD to get a dialog that lists all landmarks. Select the one that you want to teleport to and poof you are there. It is a good idea to name the landmarks clearly so there are easily recognized.

There is no limit to the number of landmarks you can put into the HUD, it is only limited by script memory. The length of the landmark name will influence how many landmarks can fit inside. A maximum of 50 is a good guideline.

This script uses a relatively new scripting API that is part of the advanced creators tools released by Linden Labs in mid 2012. The llTeleportAgent API handles permissions a bit differently than many other scripting APIs. The TELEPORT permission, must be granted to the HUD once the first time you teleport after attaching the HUD and after you have made change to the landmarks in the HUD. After that you will not be prompted for the TELEPORT permission again unless you reset the script or add more landmarks.

CUSTOMIZATION:
Although the teleport HUD script is not modifiable, the prim/object containing the teleport script is modifiable. Put your own texture on the HUD by rezzing the teleport HUD on the ground and Editing the object to change the texture used.
