Diprotodon is an extinct marsupial animal, related to the modern wombats and koalas. It is the largest known marsupial ever to have lived, roughly the size of a hippo. It seems to have lived in open woodlands and thrived on local vegetation.
As many other large austalian fauna, they became extinct some 40 000 years ago, shortly after the arrival of homo sapiens on the continent.
Enjoy!
