Stone Birdbath
A quiet place. Or at least, it tries to be.
Nobody remembers who ordered it. It arrived with the Blackhorn Rhino trophy, tucked in to balance the crate, or maybe just to fill the space.
Just a stone birdbath. Nothing special.
Except the pigeons. Always the same two.
And the water, which never dries and never moves, unless you're not looking.
There’s nothing unusual about it.
Unless you spend a little too long watching the bottom.
