The result of a collaborative project to bring new planes to the skies of SL, the Do335 Pfeil (German for "arrow") was an advanced prototype aircraft that saw limited production toward the end of WWII. Featuring an unusual pushme/pullyou dual prop design, it had the power of a twin prop but the cross section and drag of a single prop plane. It was faster than most aircraft in the skies at the time. The propellers spun opposite directions to counter torque, and the in-line design meant if one engine failed the plane would still fly stably rather than suddenly be off balance.
The Pfeil controlled airflow to its two engines through a ring of panels around the nose of the aircraft, and a single panel under the plane near the tail (toggle these open or closed using "abr" in Nearby Chat).
*Note: though we can appreciate the innovation of historical aircraft of any era, we will not make a version available that bears the emblem of the regime which controlled Germany at that time. This is not something we will entertain, please do not ask.
