This is a simple crate designed to be used in an armory or storage area.
Features:
• Made to fit weapons or equipment. Comes with a foam texture so you can make your own foam cut-outs for the items inside.
• The crate is designed efficiently. Uses 1 land impact for both the opened version and the closed one.
• Comes with 6 skins: Yellow, white, tan, orange, olive and black.
• Uses the materials system; diffuse, normal, specular, glossiness and reflective maps.
LOD's pop and Surface Materials Are Flat
It would be great to see bump and spec maps on these crates as well as some size variety. Additionally, if they can be updated with better LOD settings this would also be a plus.
This is about the closest I have found to my system I have in RL. However the quality definitely has room for improvement, and I hope the creator will come back and update/upgrade these cases.
Nice looking Container, lacks instructions
The containers look nice and fit together well. However while it includes textures for making foam cut outs of your own, it doesn't tell you anything about how to go about doing it. Fine if you're used to making your own items on Second Life, but not so helpful if you don't know more than the basics. My only other complaint is that while you can resize the containers you can't really change their actual shape if you want one that's more square etc.
