Rez out the drydock on any surface in world.
Raise it up to the desired altitude.
Fly your MINI Starship into it for modification and repair.
Some Atlanta Spacecraft MINI Starships have hitpoint counters, which the far right console in the control room can "reset".
Other consoles are also interactive, with sounds and photos of Starships.
