Let them eat cake! Okay, so it was brioche really, but you know what we're talking about, Versailles, baby! When excess and luxury were unbridled and the Sun King got his. We're not so much about the revolting peasants but we absolutely adore that rich, lustrous look. We have cloth of gold damasks and sumptuous velveteen fabrics and, of course, gilding! Get ready to feel regal, we already do!

There are no animations in this piece, just good looks for days, sturdy construction with beautiful lines and that high quality finish you expect! And, texture change, of course! Choose from:

The first three are also present in the Port Royal range, so this kit will work well with any Port Royal items you have too!

We have put all the many individual pieces (columns, frames, baseboard, dado rail, coving in as many permutations as we could think of) into a linked kit to make your life easy. Just rezz it out, choose your colour, unlink the bits you want and get building. The pieces will snap perfectly for you against a flat prim. You can get wildly creative with your own textures, applying them to the frame content, or supporting wall - so many possibilities! HOW TO USE YOUR PANELING KIT WITH THE LEAST PAIN!!

We know, kits can be hard to use. We promise ours isn't, just be sure to follow this series of steps in order, and let your creativity flow!

1. Rezz out the kit that is closest to the height (3m tall, or 4m tall) that you need in a nice clear space.

2. Take a minute to look at all the pieces and think about which ones will work with your idea. There are a lot to choose from, so it really pays to have a good look before diving in.

3. Click the floor panel and choose your colour. Be patient, it takes a while to apply :)

***IMPORTANT*** - ONCE YOU UNLINK, COLOUR CHANGE DOES NOT WORK ANY MORE!

If you think you might want to blend more than one texture, rezz out more than one kit and texture each one differently.

4. Once you are SURE you are done with texture change, get your edit muscles flexing! Using the standard build menu, check the 'edit-linked' box.

5. Now you can choose the individual pieces that you want to use, unlink them and move them around until you are happy.

6. Get creative! Try applying some wallpaper behind the frames, or on the frames, put a picture in a frame, go crazy and have fun.

7. Don't worry if it messes up. Just delete the oops and rezz out a new kit and start over.

8. Once you have all your pieces lined up as you want them , link them up and watch the land impact drop! Clever, eh?

(pro tip - it is SO much easier to work out one section to your liking, link that up and repeat it... than to try to keep many individual prims all selected at once!)
