This scripted lamp gives the user On/Off control in two switchable modes: (1) Manual and (2) Daylight.
In Manual mode, the lamp switches ON/OFF with a user's touch; In Daylight mode, it switches ON at sundown, OFF at sunrise.
Reach the menu to control the switching mode by holding your mouse button down for two seconds in Manual mode, or by a single click in Daylight mode.
The lamp's sensor checks for daylight every 15 seconds, so you may see a brief delay before the lamp turns ON if you change modes after the sun goes down.
In either mode, the cylindrical lamp globe (shade) is opaque white when the lamp is turned OFF, and becomes semi-transparent when the lamp is switched ON.
Please Note: If the landowner of your sim has selected to use Fixed Sun instead of Global Time, your lamp will not be able to operate in Daylight mode, although you will always be able to use it in Manual mode. Check World >> Estate/Region >> Estate to verify the sun setting on your sim.
