It was the early 1930's - the great depression was on - it was world wide. The "new" 2dr sedan from the worlds largest car company cost $495.00. Then there was this car and other similar cars. They were for the 1% of the 1% people. There was a race to make the most expensive car. What little advertising there was went like this-a picture of a beautiful woman in her garden with the car's name followed by words like "if it's right for you" The real advertising was at parties hosted by the very rich and very famous. At the car dealer, they would give you a price on a rolling chassis with an engine. Then they would ask who your custom coach builder was, if you hadn't selected one yet, they would offer to provide the name of one.This all could cost upwards of $20,000 sometimes more. The average low priced 2 door sedan was under $500.00 at the time. On your way to your bank in the morning ( the bank you owned) , people standing in line at the soup kitchens,might through rocks at your car. If you car is damaged ,see your dealer.If you need to change to your "summer" body for your car-see your dealer.

The engine in this car was a twin cam 4 valve wonder putting out 265 HP in the 1920's! A model A had 40 HP It won the Indy 500 in 1922,1924,1925,and 1927. It also won the French Grand Prix in 1921. After 1932 they brought out a supercharged engine with 320HP !.

The engine in my car is the Indy 500 engine , only really souped up with 4 twin throat carburetors

The interior is enhanced even more by me for detail

it has a radio tuned to AXTEL'S AUTOS :-)

the wire wheels are splendid

the "look" and finish of the thing is right

tuned for easy driving even over road hazards

the top ,lower body and interior change color - there are 97 colors on the color card supplied , and with a 2 tone body , you should have enough to play with.
