Dvandva Gen 2 Lights
The Dvandva Generation 2 Lights allow you to control all characteristics of the light through an easy to use menu.
- Change the light radius, falloff, intensity and color.
- Customize your lights with a wide selection of texture.
- Change the size of the light through the menu.
- Set the access for controlling the light to owner, group or all.
- Set the light to automatically turn on at night and off during the day.
- Use the included light switch to conrol groups of lights.
- Control the lights through chat commands as well!
- Display a custom message up to 20 characters on each side of the lights sign
Instructions
To turn the light on and off simply click the bulb on the top of the light.
To start or stop the main post rotation click the post.
To change the sign wording edit the notecard in the sign backing prim and change the
notecard name to the text you want displayed (maximum of 20 characters).
To change the characteristics of the light click on the bulb on the top of the light and
hold the mouse button down for 1 second. The following menu will be displayed:
On/Off - Turns the light on or off
Auto/Manual - Auto mode turns the light on at night and off during daylight. Manual mode
allows the user to turn the light on and off by clicking. If the light is in Auto
mode it will revert to the auto setting 60 seconds after it is clicked on or off.
In other words, if it is daylight and the light is turned on it will automatically
turn off within 60 seconds. If it is night and the light is turned off it will auto-
matically turned on within 60 seconds.
Light Color - Select a color for the light from a menu.
Radius - Select the radius of the light in meters. This is the distance in meters from
the light that will be illuminated. The illumination is also effected by the falloff.
Intensity - The intensity is how "bright" the light is. The menu is a percent of total
Falloff - How quickly the light falls off or dimishes from the source. The spectum is
realtive to distance is:
Abruptly => Fast => Medium => Slowly => None
Select Part - Brings up the "Choose Part" menu with a list of parts of the light that can be
changed. Select a part to bring up the menu of the characteristics that may
be modified. These vary with different lights and include:
Bright - turn full bright on or off
Glow - set how much glow a part has
Shine - the amount of shine
Color - the color of the part
Texture - allows selection of different textures for the part
There may also be accessories that can be displayed or hidden.
There may be no parts that can be modified on some lights.
Size - Brings the resizer menu up to change the size of the light.
Access... - A menu to set the access to Owner, All, or Group.

Rez Switch - rezzes a 1 prim switch to control 1 or more dvandva lights (see below)
