The Texture Control script allows you to add texture change to your build. You can specify the faces of the prim to change and the textures that may be used to change a specific group. The textures can be structured into categories and restricted to one or more groups.
Your customer will see a menu of 'parts' when they click on the linkset object containing the 'selectTexture' script. Once a part / group is selected the user will get a menu of the texture categories that can be applied to the part / group. Once the category is selected the user can then select the specific texture to apply to the part / group.
If only one category of textures is specified for a part / group then the category menu will be skipped and the user will be presented directly with the list of textures.
You have control over which textures can be applied to which prims/faces of every
prim in your build.
You can also have seperate prims that act as 'buttons' to go directly to the texture menu for a given part!
See item in Second Life- Set Texture for groups of prims / prim faces
- Associate group of textures with parts of your build
- Split a single prim into multiple textures
- Multiple texture categories for each group / part
- 150+ Textures can be stored
Perfection
This is another high quality product from Dvandva! Set up is easy, the scripting flawless, and when I did hit a road-bump, the creator was swift, courteous, and very helpful.
Thank you, Rian Jayaram!
