E&D SNsTr NAT.202 Network Access Terminal from E&D Engineering
Welcome to the Sinister Series of Plasma Reactors from E&D ENGINEERING...
The Sinister (SNsTr) Series of reactors has been carefully crafted and meticulously textured using custom, professional textures produced in-house by E&D ENGINEERING.
Scripted controls give the user (or the rezzed-object's group) control over the onboard customizations available on each plasma reactor.
FUNCTION OVERVIEW:
COLOR:
Each Plasma Reactor in the Sinister Series has 6 custom color options (white, blue, green, yellow, orange, red). Color may control such items as the reactor cores and coolant housings, spotlights, light emission, etc.
SOUND:
Each Plasma Reactor in the Sinister Series (except for the E&D Engineering: SNsTr CFG.3.2 Centrifuge) has 6 custom sound effects, which can be selected by menu, or disabled entirely.
SCREEN CONTROL:
For those Plasma Reactors in the Sinister Series which come equipped with monitor screens, the onboard controls allow the owner (or rez-object's group) to select from 3 custom screen/text colors (blue, green, orange).
MANAGEMENT OPTIONS:
PERMISSIONS:
The 'PERMS' button toggles the reactor from Owner-Only mode to Group-Mode, and back. When activated, the reactor will whisper its current mode to the user.
RADAR:
Each reactor in the Sinister Series comes with simple object radar. This radar will scan the nearby vicinity and send an IM to the owner every 60 seconds. This allows the reactor to function as a simple perimeter scaner, notifying the owner of visitors to the owner's sim, space station, ship, or wherever the reactor happens to be located. Radar is enabled by default, and can be disabled by toggling the "RADAR" button in the Management Menu.
Nice, but radar WAY too annoying
I really loved this item and having it in my build, but the constant radar notifications, even when I tried to turn it off and even delete the radar script, drove me insane. I had to derez it. Wonderful design (though primmy) but I just couldn't take the radar anymore.
