EM PBM Mariner Version 0.6.2

This is a real sweetheart, she handles well, is forgiving, is beautiful, and has a comfortable feel. That being said, she's massive. I like big girls, but she's HUGE. Good luck finding a bertth. I'm just gonna have to pull her out for the parties, and then - back in inventory. SL needs more planes like this.

I agree completely with the other reviewers, aircraft looks great very detailed and mostly flies as perfectly as one could imagine. I do agree that the landing is a little bit odd when you consider it must have a hell of a lot of ground effect afloat as it does but as the reviewer indicated action on the throttles pretty much levels the playing field on that aspect.

I too would like to suggest to the builders that in addition to a movable cargo door and crew door the one thing the aircraft really needs is to have been recognized by the GTFO group. For an aircraft this large it should be able to carry a heavy load and make some really good money points.

So for the reasons indicated by the former reviewers I took the chance bought the aircraft and very pleased with the purchase.

ok were to start i read some of the reviews .
so i went to the store and took a demo out for a fly .
the plane looks great very impressive looking it is well built . one guy sade it flys like a solth not ture at all it flys great trust me im very picky the plane flys great and if your looking for a great plane and one thats a lot of fun to fly and not hard at all to fly this is the plane for you .

Over all ...this plane is awesome.

For its size it handles very well , I had no issues on sim crossings ..in fact I'd say it was comparable to almost any plane I have flown in that respect. The controls are fairly decent too , sounds don't really do it justice as it seems to go from idle to hell bent between 5% and 15% ...smoother transition in sound would have added nicely but still impressive. I'd like to see a large cargo door added to lend some functionality to roleplay as well as modify but not a demand just an idea as it would be awesome for Get the freight out also if it had those .

Sadly I am giving it 4 out of 5 in the area of landing , it just doesn't seem to react very real there , if you come in below 30% it literally touches down and stops ... the physiques dont match the weight , even 20% on landing I should need to reverse thrust a bird this size to come to a stop but nope ... Lands like a butterfly unless you literally come in too hot , but this can be over come with some throttle learning and using more juice than you'd normally hit it with.

Looks nice. That's about the only nice thing I can say because it handles like a dead sloth. Basically a very expensive decoration for now.
