MedLife 15 Defibrillator
The MedLife 15 defibrillator. Stepping up medical and EMS role-play in Second Life with a full force defibrillator, featuring animated on-screen cardiac rhythms (which also include pulse ox, and SP02, heart rate, and respiratory rate), ability to shock a patient, analyze their cardiac rhythm or initiate synchronized cardioversion. The defibrillator features the ability to turn the screen on/off, mute all sounds and alarms, or even change the brightness of the screen, all via low-lag scripting. What's more - it comes with transferable and copyable electrocardiograph electrodes, blood pressure cuff, and AED pads. This set also includes a low prim, fully sculpted charging station/dock including flashing indicator lights. An animated version is included so it looks great carrying it around as well!

The real deal (almost)!!! the very best ECG/defibrillator/vital signs monitor in SL
I'm furnishing a small infirmary for my Linden Home, so prims are a real issue. So's verisimilitude. The L$100 ECG machine I got drew realistic cardiac waveforms on PAPER - and only three of them. Not so hot (though pretty good for the price, I thought - before I tried THIS ONE). THIS machine shows ECG waveforms - a lot of them, all for different heart problems - on a simulated plasma screen, and delivers both the big 300-400 joule resuscitation hit and cardioversion! It analyses the patient (well, you're selecting the arrhythmia, so no surprise there, but it's realistic). This is the sort of thing I was NOT expecting for 200 lindens! In the real world, a device like this would probably set the clinic that bought it back about L$1600... so grateful that the designer threw in all the extras - electrodes, a BP cuff, two AED pads... and a couple of different versions of the device, including an animated one for your .avi to carry which STILL WORKS!
THIS IS THE BEST DAMN THING I'VE SEEN IN SL, SO FAR! I've worked in cardiology and in hospitals, and it's an amazing addition to anyone RPing a doctor or paramedic (I do both, in addition to military role play where I'm set up to be a medic/corpswoman.)
Buy this! Tell your friends! Make this guy rich, because he DESERVES IT!
