The history of cars began with the 60s. last century with a modification of the tractor T-30, which was installed attachments. The first excavator was wheeled and received the name E-201. Later, the tractor changed to MTZ-5 "Belarus", and the unit received the brand E-221.
Large-scale production of excavators on the new chassis UMZ-6KL under the brand EO-2621V began at the Borodyansky and Zlatoust factories in 1974. In 1986, Saransk Plant was added to the manufacturers. Tracked version appeared in the late 90s. Today in the CIS, more than 12 firms are engaged in the production of machines.
