Update!: The Arcane made staff got a full overhaul, allowing you to click in mouselook to fire 1 magic bolt, click and hold to charge, and release a stage 2 attack with 5 magic bolts. It also has a sub-fire gesture to launch a big fire blast.

Note from the developer:
| The Arcane Mage Staff is a magic wooden staff that would be great for any magic user looking to start their adventure. It fires off 3 magic missiles when you swing, and they explode on impact dealing LL and LBA damage. It also has Crosswinds Battle System functionality, shooting missiles at your targets when you use a basic attack.

Instructions:
| Unpack
| Attach
| Recolor and mod as desired
| Use included gestures for weapon to operate
| Click in mouselook when weapon is drawn to shoot 1 magic bolt
| Click and hold when weapon is drawn to charge up a 2nd stage 5 magic bolt attack
| Use included gesture to launch a fire blast
| Using CBS will draw / sling when entering and leaving combat
| Using CBS will shoot magic missiles at your target with attacks
| Drawing / slinging will turn the Echelon AO on and off

It's perfect as is

It was more than I expected; Not only is it modify (extra points for that btw!) but also very well segmented when it comes to texture faces.

It comes with nice animations, plus the function to "sheathe" and "unsheathe" it.

And on top of all that, also comes with a massive fireball attack? What's not to love about it.

I'll tell everyone I know about it. I'd rate it higher if I could.

When I compare it to every other staff on the market, it's the best out there.

Great Power, but not without Risk

This weapon could be 5-stars depending on your intended use. For my needs, the weapon's function detracts from it's overall score. I'm not familiar with the CBS system and intended to use my staff for LL combat. It is extremely powerful, unleashing a spread of three slow-moving balls that explode for massive LBA (listen-based armor) damage. However, the shots come out a little low to my avatar's perspective and the blast radius of the balls means any uneven terrain or obstacles that block the shot at the last moment can end up killing the user with great ease. For me, the risk of self-antihalation is a bit too high for it to be an effective tool in the arsenal.
I feel like this weapon was designed with CBS in mind tho, so if that's what your intended use is, then I imagine you wouldn't be disappointed.

Recommended for some.
