This range is copy and mod friendly, (excluding scripts). It is original mesh, unique to Eclectica, made with love by Tiffy Vella, who adores old vintagey stuff , 3D modeling and texturing.

Please always edit a copy of your item. Keep a master version in your inventory. I will happily send you a new version if you bork one up, and am always happy to help you with enquiries.

You are able to resize this stove to suit your needs using the edit menu, even when the item appears no-mod.

You are able to use the edit menu to tint surfaces. I create the textures to have a certain degree of realism, but want you to be able to tweak them a wee bit if you need to suit your decor. I recommend that you use "Select Face" in the edit menu to avoid tinting the entire piece.

Each pack includes one kitchen range, and two rangehoods. Both rangehoods can be touched to give light, but one will toggle standard old-fashioned light on and off, and the other will give you a menu to turn projected light on and off. Use whichever suits your graphics preferences choices.

The stove is animated to allow you to interact with it. These animations can be adjusted to suit your avatar height. Follow directions from the dialog box. They are the standard methods used by the AV sitter system. Tweaking your hover height can also be a quick and simple temporary fix.

If you right click on the stove main body, you can choose "sit here" and be animated. There are 10 options.
You may watch what's happening inside the oven, open the oven doors to check progress in either the left or right oven, use a hotplate to cook steak and mushrooms, have a sip of "something for the cook" while using the hotplate, use 2 different poses to cook sausages and eggs, stir soup, clean the stove top, and lean and chat. Accessories will spawn as needed. You may have to give the stove permission to attach objects to your hands the first time you use it, so watch for any pop-ups on your screen (or hiding in your notifications) asking permission.

You may also touch the valve area just above the stove top (while sitting or standing nearby) to make the range bake muffins, roast chicken, simmer a pot of soup, or to pop the kettle on. These items can remain while you are not at the stove. So it is indeed possible to leave home and forget that you have left the gas on.
You can also use this control to turn on any of the five gas burners on the stove top. This may be handy if you have any dishes of your own that you would like to leave cooking on the stove. Or just use your imagination. If you want to rp a noobie Sim with no cooking skills or smoke alarm, turn on alllll the burner options and scream for the SL Fire Department.

Individual faces for tinting are-

Stove body-
main cast iron, sides, base (kickboard), trim that runs up around the front and top (no idea what to call that bit sorry), piping, hinges/handles, rest of the metal detailing

Stove doors-
main cast iron, hinges, rest of metal details, glass, trim around glass

Rangehood-
main copper body, big pipe at the top, trim around the lip, inner, grille

The glass in the oven doors has been set to 50% transparency. You can edit this to vary between full opacity and full transparency.

The rangehood has rotating fans to help extract any fumes. The script in these is a simple rotation script, which I have left full perm so you may most definitely do some meddling. Just keep a copy in inventory in case anything odd happens. Like crazy owner who makes random changes to scripts. :)

There is a glowy prim up inside the rangehood (behind the fans) that has a greenish tint to it. Mostly, it will never be seen, but can look very cool in some photos. if you do not like that colour, you may cam up. select the face, and change that colour to whatever you prefer. i just happen to like green :)

There are two rangehoods because I want them to shine a light down while you cook. One has standard old-fashioned light that toggles on and off at a touch. The other has projected lighting that can be turned on and off using a dialog box. Use whichever version suits your graphics preferences. The latter needs advanced lighting to be seen (and casts shadows), while the former can be seen by all (but may shine up the wall unrealistically).

Some accessories will emit gentle light and particles.

Land impact of range = 13 as sold.
Land impact of rangehood = 3 as sold.
Rezzed items are 1 LI each.

The Best

The pics and description doesn't do it justice. This exceeded any expectations. I bought the range, sink and fridge. I also bought the pipes set. My kitchen in an older looking home now rocks. Touch the pipes and fittings and they start leaking steam. I leave them on all the time rather than off. So my kitchen looks serious business. Ready to transport yourself back to 1800's high tech? You won't be disappointed if Steampunk is your thing.
