Eclectica- Gloria Cloche hat

Hello and thanks for being a customer, as I appreciate the support for what I do, and love knowing that my creations are being used.

There are a few things you will need to know to get the most from your purchase.

All pieces I make are copyable and modifiable. Please make a backup of any piece before you modify it. If you forget, right-click on the item in your inventory and copy/paste it before you detach. That way, you may be able to redeem an unchanged version if you have an oopsy.

This pack includes one cloche hat, texturechangeable at a touch to give you a variety of texture options. The hat includes simple hair, but you may toggle this off if you prefer to wear it with your own hairstyle or texture layer.

This is an original mesh design, but of course I have been influenced by 20s styles in making it. I have sampled popular fashion colours from the 20s, and had some fun messing with procedural texturing in blender, aiming for satin, silk, pearl and old plastic textures. I do love putting little critters on things, and so we have some metal and plastic butterflies to offset the simplicity of the cloche shape. Use these to blend with or contrast with the colourings of the main hat.

It is scripted with a single 64kb deletable script. But you can mod it, so all prim parameters may be edited to your hearts content. You may resize, reposition, edit the shine, edit the glow and tint the individual faces of the hat. It is a single mesh object, so that when selected, you may edit it along individual axis.

I recommend hiding your ears if they protrude. Or tucking them in if they are prominent. Don't want to ear-shame anyone, but a cloche hat irl holds the ears close to the head and so you may need to mimic this with your avatar.

The hat attaches to your skull, and is unrigged, so you may reattach it to another point if you prefer or adjust its positioning to however you like. You may shift and rotate it to wherever suits your hairstyle or clothing.

To change the textures, simply touch the hat (in a sim which allows scripts to run) and you will get a drop down menu (dialog box) in the corner of your screen. It will guide you through resizing via script if you prefer that option, the texturechange options, and the hair toggling option.

The hat has 9 main textures, 9 band textures, 9 butterfly wing textures, silver and gold metal options, 4 pearl textures and 9 hair textures. Each of these faces may also be selected independently for editing. The colour choices enable you to choose a variety of moods. Go dark and brooding, sophisticated, or light and breezy- this hat is flexible.

Purchases are not returnable. This is because of the permissions, and there is nothing I can do to change that. Demos are available for all items.
