Eclectica Innsmouth Headpiece-smooth

Quality mesh accessories, virtually handcrafted with love. This headpiece is copiable and modifiable and contains a single removable script.

Eclectica 'Innsmouth' headpieces contain a single removable script each per piece, and they have a land impact of 2 prim per item, making them very kind to the virtual environment.

These are original mesh designs, unique to Eclectica. They are inspired by the HP Lovecraft book "The Shadow over Innsmouth", and so have a fishy cast to them. Imagine a vintage bathing cap with some added whimsical horror. Excellent for merfolk or monsters alike, and unisex.

The headpieces are simple to use. Just add it and it will attach to your skull. If resizing is needed, you may either use the scripted resizer (touch the headpiece for a menu) or use the edit menu. The headpiece is a single object, so you can easily scale it along a single axis. I have included an alpha ear hider on a tattoo layer if you'd like to be rid of ears altogether. If you wish to move the headpiece up or down you may do so as it is unrigged.

The alpha is full perms, and the texture is included to allow you to reupload it combined with other alphas if you want to save on layers worn.

If needed, these pieces can be resized manually using the edit menu. They are unrigged, so you may adjust them as needed. Obviously, the demo version is not modifiable and won't demonstrate the modifiable properties.

The headpiece is scripted to texturechange, with 4 variations for the outer main body as shown. There are 3 surfaces which are manually tintable; the outer body, the inner lining and the glowy tips. The inner lining is neutral, allowing you more flexibility to tint it to help it suit your hair/skin if you'd like. The glowy tips are also neutrally coloured, and you can therefore make them anything you like. They are fullbright (not a feature I often use, as this can be annoying, but in this case I think it adds to the effect) and you can turn this off manually if you wish.

The shine and texture in these pieces is enhanced with material mapping, to help them look a little more interesting. Please turn on the "advanced lighting model" in your graphics preferences to see the effect.
