Hello, and thanks for your purchase! Your support helps to keep me designing for Second Life.

There are a few things you will need to know to get the most from your purchase.

Please note- Radios differ from my usual permissions (which are usually copy and modify, but not in this case) because they need to be transferable, allowing deed-to-group. This lets them be used on group-owned land. The mesh object is modifiable, so that you may still make alterations to glow/tint/transparency etc, but it is no copy, so be careful.

There are two in the box, just in case you need some insurance against misfortune.

This radio is inspired by mid century design, probably the earlier 1950's. Just pop it on a surface on your land, set to the land's group and it will be ready to go.

Touching the radio will allow you to set the music channel being broadcast by your land. Look in About Land>Sound>Music URL, a this is what the radio communicates with to make the change. You will need to edit your sound options to allow music to be heard, and allow permissions for music URLs to play.

Group members may use the radio.

I have loaded the radio with some themed steampunk/electroswing/vintage/classic stations to get you started. There can be no guarantee that all will work as these are outside my control, however, there is a configuration notecard inside the contents that is entirely editable. You can edit, delete channels, and add all your own favourites, creating as many genres as you need.

The radio has a land impact of 1, standing at .47m tall. This includes a subtle shadow and a glowing, gently-pulsing centre panel. Yes, you can resize it either by the script included or manually using the edit menu.

The radio has a texturechanging script to help you customise the look. Simply touch it for a drop down menu to guide you through the process. The main plastic body has 9 vintagey colours. Yes, you can hand tint any faces. And you can edit the glow and full-bright status of any faces if you would like a different effect.

There are two versions of this radio. One is "clean", ie, made from relatively new materials. The other is "Wasteland style" if you want a post-apoc/ Fallout-inspired look. This pack contains the brand new clean version.

If you need assistance, please contact me (Tiffy Vella) via IM, as I may be able to help you even when not inworld. I do not mind questions, and would rather the opportunity to help if there is any issue.

All the best, and please enjoy using my designs to make your sl environment a little more immersive and expressive. :)
