Electric Piano

It is a little bigger than i would have liked. HOWEVER it is modify so i can downsize or upsize. Also when you upside it, your avatar moves away from the keyboard, but using the edit functions you can edit the invisible pose ball and move the avatar into the correct position.

I'm leaving this review as a feedback not as a critique, as I love this keyboard and use it a lot on smaller intimate gigs that can't fit a grand piano. However, interested buyers should try out the demo inworld first, as you might not like the few hassles that may come with it.

This has a stand playing animation. It would have been great to have a stool / seat playing animation, as in RL.

My avatar is small, but still too tall for the keyboard, so that my hands are playing the air.. Though you can adjust your playing height on the pop up menu, you can lower it only so much before the feet disappear in the ground. Fortunately the keyboard is mod-able, so I can manually increase its size, but not too much otherwise it becomes an unrealistically giant Fender Rhodes! You need to also readjust the textures after this, which can be a bit tricky.

There is a floating text which you can turn off when you rezz and start playing. You can also make it owner permission only. However, as I play this at gigs, taking it back into my inventory means that every time I re-rezz it, I have to set up everything again. It would be great if there's a save setting option on the menu.

Otherwise, it has a nice relaxed playing animation. It has realistic detailed textures. It is not too expensive. Customer service was fab. My first keyboard was faulty. Grimes sent me another working one. This goes brilliantly with the microphone that Grimes also provide, which I've got with it.

Finally, please note this is non-copy but mod-able and transferable. I didn't ask, and I should have... Perhaps Grimes could sell it as copy but non-transfer. It would certainly help make a musician's life a lot easier to be able to delete objects when clearing out the stage quickly! No harm asking!
