Elenesski's Club Tipjar - with Login/Logout Support

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You are buying an object that contains SCRIPTS and NOTECARDS only. The system is fully configurable. The following is the USER GUIDE you can give your staff:

The purpose of this guide is to help The Club DJs, HOSTs, and MANAGERs use the tipjar system. It’s not hard, but there are a few special features that you should be made aware of.

OPERATION

(1) YOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TAGS ::: To interact with the TIPJAR you must have your "The Club Staff" tags set. If you don’t get a menu, you have the wrong tags. The system will not warn you in anyway if you have the wrong tags.

(2) STARTING THE TIPJAR MENUS ::: Click any place on the TIPJAR except the profile/club texture. Clicking the profile/club texture brings up the pay menu.

(3) TIPJAR PURPOSES ::: Each TIPJAR is for a specific purpose. When logging on, you will be asked to select the role for the tipjar which will be something like “DJ”, “Host”, “Manager”, etc. If you click a tipjar and the role doesn’t suit you, you are using the wrong tipjar.

(4) NOTIFICATION ::: After you select a role, the system then asks how you would like to be notified. Notification will contain the tip amount, who made it, their display name, and the total tips you’ve received so far. You have three options. DIALOG means you will get a popup dialog with details about the tip you received. TEXT means you will receive notification in local chat about the tip you received. BOTH means you get both DIALOG and TEXT notifications. If you ignore this dialog box, the default DIALOG is selected.

(5) LOGGED IN OPTIONS ::: Once you are logged on, you can click the TIPJAR again, you get these options.

a. LOGOUT – Logs you out of the tipjar, you will get a summary of your tips in Dialog, Text or Both. This makes it available for somebody else.

b. LAST TIP – Gives you the details of the last tip you received. This could be in a Dialog, Text or Both.

c. NOTIFY – Allows you to change how you are notified about tips. So you can change your mind later, or if you made a mistake when you logged on.

d. KEEP % - This is a feature for benevolent staff members; you are under no obligation to use this feature. This feature allows you to specify what % of your tips you keep, with the rest going to the club instead of to you. (Default is always 100%. The club gets nothing.) This feature is totally optional, and you must manually set it each time. The audience nor other staff members will know about your donation. You should still acknowledge all tips. You will get notifications as if you are receiving full tips.

(6) WHAT IF YOU -- CRASHED? If you crash, the system will leave you logged on for up to 10 minutes. You will still get tips for a while. If you are logged out, you get the summary of the tips you received in a dialog, text or both.

(7) WHAT IF YOU -- LEAVE YOURSELF LOGGED IN? Any other staff member can log you out.

(8) SPECIAL FEATURE -- LOGGING OUT DOESN'T END YOUR TIPPING! If you get logged out of the tipjar you will continue to receive all tips the tipjar receives until the next person logs in.
