scripts are great but need updated
The elevator script has the floor distance as an "integer" and uses llList2Integer to read from description. So your floors have to be whole meters apart, no fractional distances. But it's easy to modify the script and have it use float value so you can have "9.5 meter" floors like the instructions mention. also, the script doesn't appear to use the #of floors value for anything.
Well, it works
I wanted a simple elevator script. I couldn't find one that worked and wound up buying this. I deleted the whole thing except the script. I stuck that in a prim and it works just fine.
Works as adverstised.
Certainly, you can't beat the low price. And the quality is good, as usual. I've bought several things from the Store of Jesus and all are really great. The only issue I had was not with the elevator but with the supplied shaft. The elevator works fine if your floors are ten feet apart, but mine are sixteen. Rather than dink around with the shafts, it was easier to make my floors ten feet apart.
really great buy
very cheap, works perfectly, only suggestion I have is to put a notecard in with directions, I had to refer back to this listing for instructions on setting up
It's a good but only for even floors
Works well but unfortunately my floors are not the same distance for each section. Nice for the price but it's going to be put away for now. Will have to look for something more versatile to make stops at different sections of distance.
