Corner Cabinet (Encoignure):

A corner cabinet crafted by Riesener in 1786 for the private cabinet of Queen Marie Antoinette.
Made of figured mahogany, it is decorated with finely chiseled gilt bronze plaques featuring floral motifs, bows, bands, and a central plaque with a trophy among perfumed vapors.
Topped with a white Carrara marble slab.
