Eth Snowfall and controller boxed - fabulous lag-free sim snow with a variety of snowflakes
This is the snow we use in Raglan Shire. It contains a mixture of different snowflake designs which fall gently and naturally. No unsightly giant grey squares. Each snowflake is a proper individual snowflake texture and not like the cheap or freebie default particle or speckled sheet emitters.
The snow prims are copy and come with a controller box to switch on the snow and then delete all scripts. This is what makes it lag free and is good for your land or sim.
Each set of five cubes will cover an area of 40x20 metres. They are transparent and phantom so will not affect flying.
***Instructions***
1. Rez the controller box
2. Rez a set of snow cubes at around 15-20 metres height and then shift copy so they are approximately 20 metres apart. You might want to press Ctrl+Alt+T so you can see them more clearly
3. Click the controller. A blue dialogue box will appear. Choose snow on. Move the snow how you like it then click the controller box again and choose the option to delete all scripts. Once the scripts are deleted, you will no longer be able to switch the snow off but you can always re-rez new snow cubes and use the controller again.
Enjoy your winterfest.

See item in Second LifeThis is actually among the best snow I've seen in SL, and for a nice price too!
It has a nice range of different snowflakes, and they graciously fall all around you.
If you don't have any snow for this winter yet, get this!
