THE SUMMER DREAM HOUSE
The garden house was very popular in Scandinavia and England in the 18th and 19th century and many are still preserved and used. They are found in gardens and parks and were usually made for keeping garden tools or as tea or coffee meeting places during summer evenings. Protected from chilly or rainy weather, they had movable furniture or benches and a small table, were illuminated by lanterns or candles. Many are the stories about them….romantic secret meetings under the full moon, spying and rebellions – or just peaceful family gathering or outdoor dinners. They have a very special place in the hearts of Swedish and English people and are found in simple gardens or in castle grounds. They are usually not heated, but larger ones could have a small coal or wood stove. For people living in colder climate with four seasons the garden house become a symbol of beautiful and light summer evening dreams.
Our garden house is representative of a Swedish or a middle English building and could be used in a small place for, meetings, romantic rendezvous, or just spending a peaceful time with friends. My model is built from a real life example.
* The European Tea house features seating for 6 people or 4 people and one lying down.
* A left click on the roof will turn ambient bird calls on/off
* The Tea House also has two working Victorian style kerosene lanterns, three couches, one table, and, of course working doors.
* A silver platter with wine & cheese to add to your table if you wish

NOTE 1 ........ I realize the LI might appear a bit high but it is fully furnished and very detailed
NOTE 2 ......... If you place your Tea House under a tree ....a logical place to put it ..... pleased be advised that alpha layers often use in trees may interfere with the seating and turning your lanterns on/off
