EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT BOARD

This event announcement board will help you to keep the visitors of your site informed of the planned activities.

The board can work in two modes:
- Message mode.
In this mode the board will display a message from a notecard. (12 lines of 40 characters are available, the text will wrap to the next line where needed.)
The notecard has to be inside the inventory of the board and must have the name: Message

- Calendar mode.
This is the main purpose of this board:
It will display a list of events in order of date and time.
Information about each of the events is held in seperate notecards inside the inventory of the board.
All event hosts can enter information about their own events by dragging notecards to the board.
Visitors can read the information on the board and they can click on the events listed to get the notecards with detailed information.
The owner decides who can list events by keeping a list of authorized hosts in a notecard named Managers in the boards inventory.
The event display is automatically updated every 5 minutes.
As time goes by, passed events will scroll off the board and new ones will come into view.
