I created these scripts while organizing my inventory. I was packing old items that I wanted to keep but didn’t need taking up space. I prefer to keep a rezzed backup box in-world as well as having the boxed items in my inventory, so I needed the boxes to be copyable.
I found it easy to overlook items like ads, notecards, or even boxes that were no-copy. Finding these no-copy items was not difficult, but it disrupted my workflow and was annoying.
So, I made these scripts! Simply drop one into an object with inventory, touch the object, and select "Yes" to start scanning. The script will list all no-copy items inside. There’s also a version that returns the items to you. The script then removes itself, making it easy to repack items with no-copy content.
These scripts check the item permissions, not the permissions for the next owner.
