Every time a new person sits down, the table's diameter expands slightly and a new chair rezzes. When someone leaves, the table shrinks again and removes a seat, still leaving an empty one for a new arrival.
You've seen expanding tables before? Yes, but this one and its chairs are each 100% mesh with a Land Impact of 3, designed to fit a stylish modern decor in your home or office. The top and pedestal of each piece are made of scratch-resistant, matte-finish virtual plastic, and the base is burnished stainless steel. Chairs are always spaced evenly around the table, with ample spacing so that your guests will never feel crowded.
No animations. Each avatar is seated properly, using his or her own preferred, normal sit animation.
Extra features:
The chairs and table are not linked. If you move the table, though, you don't need to worry about repositioning a rezzed chair. Within a minute, the chairs will sense that the table has moved and will simply vanish.
The owner -- you -- can delete all chairs and reset the table's script at any time by clicking on the table top and clicking a dialog Reset button. That action will return the table to its "empty" state, just one chair. It's a failsafe reset, but also a surprising way to let your guests know that it's time to go home.
