Beautiful Ring and Excellent Customer Service
When I first bought this ring and its companion (the Aragorn) for myself and my sweetie they were delivered as No Copy. I sent a notecard to the merchant and she responded within 24 hours with a replacement and an apology. Additionally, the rings consequently showed up as Copiable in the Contents tab, so she also fixed the problem in the MP listing which many merchants neglect to do. Excellent customer service!
As for the ring itself (I am here reviewing only the Arwen ring; my sweetie is posting his own review of the Aragorn) it is undeniably lovely. I do however have some comments:
In the full bright version there isn't much depth to the metals; they show up much better in the non full bright version (using Ultra on my somewhat older PC). I also found the colors of all the metals except the pewter to be somewhat anemic, lacking a richness of color compared to other metallic objects.
Additionally, the solitaire stone looks amazing in full bright, but lacks depth in non full bright. With the above issue of the metal looking better with non full bright creates a mutually exclusive situation: I can have a great looking stone or great looking metal, but not both. Also, I would love to have the option of picking a chocolate diamond!
These issues however, are really just nitpicking. I am pleased with the ring and pleased with the customer service. Minus half a star for not being able to choose full bright separately for the stone and the metal, and half a star for needing to make a customer service request in the first place.
