the 1 star review was very incorrect, you have to enable the gestures for the functions to work.

this is a beautiful, and fantastic aircraft. I've climbed over 4000 meters in it, done successful dogfights in it, and have had no issues in it besides me idiotically crashing because I was blabbering about how much fun i was having.

500/10, I really suggest Omega Concern brand aircraft, can't wait to see more fixed wing aircraft.

I read instructions, as of simulators this is the best, i travel sim to sim whole 1 hour no crash, this jet is not for noobs, you must be a professional to fly this, when you do learn this jet, everything is perfect, and the look of it is the best hands down, nobody makes the realistic look like omega, and very professional gadgets as well, thank you omega!

"PLEASE NOTE: If you aren't willing to read the manual and understand the functions of this aircraft, please, don't buy it, you won't enjoy it." I read it thoroughly.

Pushing b as explained for the brakes does not do anything, no message in chat either.
Pushing shift-f as explained for the flaps does not do anything, no message in chat either.
Pushing g for gear up or down as explained does not do anything, no message in chat either.
Even with flaps down the aircraft needs a hardly manageable high speed to keep level.
I could not see any indication of the throttle, no percentage given for example, no message in chat either

"The F/A-18F Super Hornet, the most advanced fighter simulation available in Second Life."

LOL. Spend your money elsewhere.

This plane hauls ass. Fun to fly and great detail. Worth the lindens and I look forward to seeing the newer releases. Good job!

This plane is obviously part of the same "generation" of vehicles as Omega Concern's A-10C. They're clearly very different looking and performing aircraft, but a lot of the interface between to two is nearly identical. At least enough that knowing the A-10, I got up to speed in the Hornet very quickly.

It does have a much shallower learning curve than the A-10, and seems easier to fly out of situations that would make the A-10 bite you, and the A-10 got a few updates until it was user friendly enough for new pilots, but the Hornet obviously benefits from the features and changes introduced in that plane. It has its own look, sounds, feel, armaments, etc, but there's not a lot I can say about the F/A-18F that I didn't already say about the A-10, so hey, go read my review there. ;)

10/10, would fly again and again.
