I have wanted to design a houseboat for a while and it is only recently that I have been inspired to build one.
This houseboat is not driveable. It is meant to be a home on water, canals or waterways. I thought turning a flat 'barge' into a home would be fun.
I have made this houseboat as low prim as possible. It fits snugly on a 1024 parcel. Infact, it is also perfect as a skybox too.
The Rugged houseboat has an open living/dining/kitchen concept and a separate bedroom and bath.

One of the best houseboats out there
I spent a long time looking for a low prim yet adorable houseboat. At first this didn't look like a great choice, but I decided to check it out in world. SO glad I did. The textures are fantastic, and with a tiny bit of TLC (in my case I changed the railings and added a tarp-covered deck on top) it easily became the cutest house I've ever lived in after 9 years in SL. I've tried out about 5-6 of the Simple Things houses and love them all. I definitely recommend a trip to the store in world to check them all out!
